Our History

May, 1999 Jiangxi Hangtian Specialized College of Science & Technology invested and established by Nanchang Hangtian Science & Technology Group  

April, 2001 renamed Jiangxi Hangtian Vocational College of Science & Technology, college level

May, 2005 named Nanchang Institute of Technology, undergraduate level

April, 2009 authorized as Bachelor’s Degree Awarding unit

April, 2011 got authority of college-level program in Auto Manufacturing & Assembly Technology between NIT and VISION UNIVERSITY OF JEONJU, S KOREA from Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education

Nov., 2012 got past of the Conformity Assessment of Undergraduate Teaching Conducted by the Ministry of Education

Nov., 2013 the first foreign student admitted

June, 2016 got authority of undergraduate-level program in Auto Service Engineering between NIT and NANBU UNIVERSITY, S KOREA from China’s Ministry of Education
